2026 news archive · Reported 31 March 2026 · UKPX added 4 November 2026
A four-page congressional letter dated 31 March set out a detailed request for UAP videos rather than a general call for disclosure. Anna Paulina Luna, chair of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, addressed the request to Pete Hegseth.
The document contains 46 numbered entries. Some entries identify more than one video, so the numbered list should not be treated as a simple count of individual recordings or separate encounters. Several include dates, platform references or operational identifiers that could help researchers track later releases.
Among the entries are a formation reported over Iran in August 2022, footage described as showing acceleration over Syria in 2021, an East China Sea observation from January 2023 and material concerning the February 2023 Lake Huron shootdown. These descriptions are the request’s own labels, rather than conclusions UKPX has reached by analysing the unseen footage.
The letter asked for delivery as soon as possible and no later than 14 April. It referred to whistleblower information and the task force’s earlier September 2025 hearing, framing access to the records as part of an ongoing oversight investigation.
For anyone comparing the request with the later PURSUE releases, the identifiers matter more than a dramatic headline count. A release can include multiple files for one episode, while an item on a request list may never be made public in the same form. The original letter is the clearest reference for what was asked for at this stage.
This archive entry records the request. It does not assume that every item was subsequently supplied to Congress or released online.
