Journal of Scientific Exploration · Systematic review and meta-analysis
A review brings together remote-viewing experiments published across almost five decades. The authors report an average result above the chance expectation in their selected studies.
Method
The review included 36 studies and 40 effect sizes, analysed with frequentist and Bayesian methods. It also examined differences between experimental protocols.
What to keep in mind
A pooled estimate depends on inclusion criteria, scoring and the quality of the underlying experiments. This synthesis is not a new independent replication, and the authors’ interpretation should be read alongside those methodological choices.
